Most repairs have a posted price. Some faults need diagnosis first. If we find more work, extra parts or a different fault, we quote it and wait for your OK before charging. Shipping and tax are extra.

Both need a deposit, which is credited toward the repair. If you cancel without sending or dropping off the device, the paid deposit is refunded. How deposits work

Board repair for your shop
You keep the customer relationship. We do the board repair, send you the findings and photos, and ship the device back to your shop.

How your repair is handled
Follow the work from your repair page. We email you when a quote or invoice is ready and when the status changes.

Ship
Ship to the address in your ticket. Liquid-damage and data-recovery jobs need a deposit first, paid by card.
Diagnose & quote
We confirm the fault. Anything beyond the listed repair is quoted, and you approve it first.
Repair & test
We do the approved work and test the fix.
Pay & return
We email you when the invoice is ready. Pay by card from your repair page and we ship it back.
Mail-in repair
Start a ticket, ship your device to the address in it, and add your tracking number. You’ll receive an update when it arrives.

The shipping address is in your repair ticket. If your repair needs a deposit, the address appears once it’s paid. Please don’t ship anything until you have it.
I’m Dakota. This is my repair shop.
I started modding consoles in high school. Working in the industry and selling online brought me into more repair work, and showed me how hard it can be to find someone to ask about a fault. Texas Board Works is where I handle those repair requests.
The focus here is the board: ports and connectors, damaged traces, power circuits and liquid damage. You can look up prices before making an account, or send the model and symptoms if you don’t know which repair to choose.
