When is there an assessment fee?
Liquid damage and data recovery require a $40 non-refundable assessment deposit per device, credited toward the final repair price. It is retained if repair is declined or unsuccessful. Other diagnosis fees are agreed before work begins.
Customers pay return shipping fees, including declined or unsuccessful repairs. Applicable tax is separate. A starting price is not a guaranteed total; parts and added work are approved first. Assessment & repair terms
Prices, assessments and what’s included
Connector prices cover intact pads on an otherwise serviceable board. Damaged traces, liquid damage, prior repair damage and other faults need a separate written quote before additional work.

The deposit is credited toward the final repair price and retained if repair is declined or unsuccessful. Other assessment fees are agreed before work. Customers pay return shipping fees in all cases where return shipment is needed. Applicable tax is separate. Do not ship until your request is accepted.
Phone and tablet partner board rates assume safely removed boards. Standard console and gaming-handheld prices include ordinary teardown, reassembly and relevant testing. Labor-only services exclude the separately approved part or kit.
